I’m Judy Jewell, an author, knitwear designer, and founder of The Autumn Acorn.

New England native Judy Jewell writes upmarket women’s fiction centered on highly sensitive women. Set in the small towns and rural landscapes of New England, her novels explore family, grief, identity, belonging, inherited wounds, and the quiet process of rebuilding a life.

A lifelong writer and knitwear designer, Judy is pursuing a degree in creative writing with a focus on fiction at Southern New Hampshire University, where she continues to refine her craft. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for quiet lives, meaningful connections, and the emotional complexity of ordinary people.

She lives in the New Hampshire mountains, where both her writing and knitwear designs are inspired by nature, the changing seasons, and the rhythms of everyday life. She hopes her stories leave readers feeling understood, encouraged, and a little less alone.
